By purchasing a ticket to the North Canterbury Wine and Food Festival 2025, you are agreeing to the below Terms and Conditions:
TICKET OPTIONS
General Admission Tickets:
Entry into the festival, an 18+ wrist band allowing the wearer to purchase and consume alcohol at the festival. A festival branded wine glass on arrival and access to all entertainment on offer.
General Admission Early Bird Tickets:
There are 500 Early Bird tickets available up until the 24th December 2024 or if sold in advance, whichever comes first.
Sober Driver Tickets:
Entry into the festival, a Sober Driver wrist band allowing the wearer to purchase and consume food and non-alcoholic beverages at the festival. Those wearing Sober Driver wristbands will not be permitted to purchase alcohol to consume at the festival, however they will be permitted to purchase sealed bottles of wine to collect as they exit the event. Access to all entertainment on offer. Sober driver ticket holders do not receive a glass.
Under 18:
Guests under the age of 18 are welcome to join us at no cost however we ask you complete a ticket registration for as all under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Under 18’s do not receive a glass.
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. No food or beverages may be taken into the festival. Empty water bottles or sealed water bottles may be brought into the festival and refilled inside the festival grounds from the free water sites. If you have a strict allergy and need to bring your own food in, you can email ncwineandfood@gmail.com to receive an exemption letter.
2. Ticket holders are welcome to bring their own seating and picnic rugs into the festival. Event Organisers take no responsibility of personal possessions brought to the event.
3. The festival is an all-weather event and will take place rain, hail, or shine (unless the organiser determines otherwise in its absolute discretion). You should be prepared for all weather conditions.
4. In the event of fire, earthquake, flooding, pandemic and/or any other circumstances that make the festival unsafe or inaccessible, or because of circumstances outside the organisers control, the event can be postponed or cancelled, without refund.
5. Except where required by law, there will be no refund of any event tickets or for any unused portion of an event ticket. This includes, but is not limited to, where there has been a variation to the event, if you are refused entry to or evicted from the venue by the organiser or event staff in accordance with the event terms, if you fail to attend the event, if you arrive after the commencement of the event, or if you leave the venue prior to the conclusion of the event.
6. Dogs and pets are not permitted inside the festival unless a service animal.
7. By purchasing a festival ticket, you are accepting that you will adhere to all government regulations around any pandemics (including COVID-19) relating to events and large gatherings. Should you breach these government regulations, we have the right to refuse admission.
8. Artist line-up and billed attractions may be subject to change.
9. Right of Admission Reserved – In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests the Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission and refund the ticket value.
10. Admission is at Ticket Holders own risk. The Organiser will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at this event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons.
11. A condition of entry to the festival is ticket holders consenting to being filmed and/or photographed for use in television, video, social media or printed promotional material.
12. The Ticket Holder consents to and will permit the search and inspection of his or her person, clothing, bags or other possessions by any official, employee of the proprietor of the venue and/or the organizer of the event.
13. All tickets purchased through Eventbrite as subject to a booking fee, and any credit card processing fees.
14. The ticket holder may be required to provide proof of age upon arrival at the Festival site. This must take the form of one of the following types of identification: A HANZ Card, a New Zealand Drivers License, New Zealand or Foreign Passport
15. The Ticket Holder will be required to leave the venue if he or she: Engages in conduct which unreasonably interferes with the enjoyment of the event by the patrons; hampers or impedes the conduct of the event; breaches any by-laws or orders applicable to the venue
16. Ticket Holders agree that it is an essential condition of issuance of Tickets and the right of admission to the event conferred on the Ticket Holder that any person at, or entering, or attempting to enter, the Venue is expressly prohibited from: a. Holding or bringing any prohibited or restricted items (to be assessed at the discretion of the security and festival management) including, without limitation; alcohol; illicit drugs; knives; weapons; fireworks; glass; cans; bottles; compressed gas containers; political, religious, offensive or race-related banners, signs, slogans or materials; flares; air horns; sound amplifiers including loudhailers; toy guns or water pistols; smoke bombs and flag sticks; commercial standard recording devices; dogs or other pets; laser pointers;, skateboards, roller blades, scooters or bicycles; or items that may interfere with the enjoyment, comfort or safety of other persons or security at the Venue (“Prohibited Items”); b. Engaging in disruptive or dangerous behaviour including, without limitation; throwing, casting, thrusting or firing any objects; instigating violence, racism or xenophobia; behaving in a way that others may interpret as provocative, threatening, discriminatory, or offensive; creating any threat to the life or safety of themselves or others, or harming another person in any way whatsoever.
17. Alcoholic drinks can only be served in an official festival wine glass which eligible ticket holders will receive on entry to the festival. In the case of loss/breakage replacement glasses will be available to purchase.
18. No pass outs apply, if you opt to leave the festival site at any stage you will not be permitted to return into the venue.
19. Smoking and vaping is not permitted in any areas of the festival grounds. We are proudly a smoke and vape free event.
20. In the event of injury or illness the organiser or event staff may, at your expense, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed necessary or advisable (in the opinion of the organiser or event staff) for your health and safety, or for the health and safety of other persons at the event.
21. Please be respectful of the environment and place any litter in the recycle or other bins provided around the venue. You must not damage, improperly use, or tamper with any property or facility at the venue, or intentionally or recklessly cause any damage or interference to plants or animals at the venue or in the area surrounding the venue.
